One of Boston's most prestigious and successful Asset Management firms is looking to add an experienced Data Engineer to their team reporting in to the growing IT organization. The firm has been providing expert investment strategy and management for decades in the Boston market and across the globe. This is a full time permanent role that offers cutting edge technology, ideas, teams, and company vision.
Data Engineer roles and responsibilities:
- Design and develop complex data systems and analytics to ensure state of the art data processing
- Developing and tuning data pipelines and ETL processes to integrate data from internal and third party resources
- Optimize and tune existing systems while also building out future architecture
- building out data quality and validation checks
- Collaborate with other IT development, cloud, and infrastructure teams as well as the business
- document and build out data models and procedures
Skills needed:
- 5+ years of investment management experience
- Solid skills in SQL and other relational databases
- Proven skills in data engineering, data management, data modeling
- Experience w ETL processes for large data sets
- Knowledge of BI tools and technologies (Power BI)
This is a Hybrid role w 3 days per week in office. Must be in the Boston area. Must be US Citizen or Greencard holder. There is no sponsorship available.
