Role
Our client has a substantial pipeline of active and potential projects throughout the United States and is hiring multiple construction professionals to meet demand. Specifically, a Site Project Manager is required to complete the construction of assigned projects, safely, on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our client’s customers. This individual will allocate and monitor budgets, collaborate with construction superintendents and workers, architects, and engineers, and implement quality, health, and safety standards on site. The incumbent will monitor job sites, document projects and must be committed to traveling where and when required to successfully complete the initial and subsequent requirements. Responsibilities
- Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors to determine project needs
- Review design and outline specifications
- Establish plan for buy-out and track accordingly
- Set performance goals and deadlines
- Plan construction processes
- Estimate costs and ensure the project is on budget
- Supervise team members and provide constructive feedback
- Monitor and report on project progress
- Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities
- Implement safety and quality guidelines
- Order the appropriate equipment and arrange for regular maintenance
- Keep track of material stock and orders
- Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly
- Resolve on-site issues and emergencies
Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field desired
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in supervising construction projects
- Extensive experience in tilt-up concrete and/or metal building required
- Design-build experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites
- Thorough understanding of construction operations and processes
- Strong organization and time management
- Track record of leading and inspiring teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD
- Willingness to travel to be on site
