Job Overview
The Completions Spec (OnsCon) applies their conceptual knowledge of Completions (OnsCon) and, with a moderate level of guidance and direction from colleagues and leadership, is responsible for solving a range of straightforward Completions (OnsCon) problems. They will be responsible for analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures and building knowledge of the company, processes, and customers.
The Completions Spec (OnsCon) understands critical business drivers and applies this knowledge to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Oversee the completion of onshore construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety requirements
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project milestones
- Develop and maintain project completion schedules, tracking progress and ensuring accurate reporting
- Oversee the testing, commissioning, and handover of completed facilities to operations teams
- Manage and mentor project team members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery
Essential Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Petroleum Engineering or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in construction completion for onshore oil and gas facilities
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, particularly in regards to safety and environmental requirements
- Experience with project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and construction drawings
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience with EPCI projects and familiarity with related terminology
