Currently supporting a 20-year established EPC + O&M firm operating out of California’s Central Valley as they continue their steady expansion. With a portfolio of over 200 ongoing C&I focused PV solar projects ranging from 1 – 5MW, now increasing to 20MW with growing Solar + BESS demands, they are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support this growing workload.
This is a full-time ON-SITE role with a close-knit team, for an Electrical Engineer with proven medium to high voltage experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven solar focused engineer (naturally) but uniquely, also for a skilled EE without renewable energy project experience, looking to break in to this world and apply their engineering background to a new portfolio of projects!
They'd love to start stamping their work in-house and this person would be pivotal to that quest! If you want to be a part of the #CleanEnergyRevolution, this is the right route in.
The successful candidate will come with:
- 5+ years working experience as an Electrical Engineer.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience from a combination of the following: utility electrical interconnection, commercial solar and/or large-scale construction.
- Technical expertise in medium and high voltage connections.
- Deep knowledge and daily use of NEC and other applicable codes.
- Design experience for single line and three-line diagrams.
- The ability and desire to pursue their PE license.
