Position Information
The Creative Operations Project Manager will be responsible for supporting and managing 360 campaigns for the Chantecaille brand and special projects in collaboration with Art, Shoot Production, Editorial, Post Production, + Studio teams.
The Creative Operations Project Manager will be the central point of contact for any seasonal campaigns, all creative projects and requests, ensuring all milestones within a project are met and all teams are aligned, by providing clear and concise planning and communication in order to ensure successful executions. The ability to work independently while adjusting and adapting management styles and techniques to the uniqueness of each project is essential to success in this role.
Position Responsibilities
- Manage and facilitate a variety of creative projects, with a focus on innovation, digital and marketing initiatives, acting as the right-hand person to our Creative Director, helping to define processes needed to effectively plan, resource, and manage our creative workstreams
- Define project scope, identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies; ensure deliverables meet requirements and standards
- Strengthen, build and maintain the creative operations building blocks and capabilities.
- Create and manage production schedules to support launch dates of seasonal marketing initiatives
- Develop timelines and ensure our team is on track to reach these milestones, while also adapting to pivots in timelines when they occur
- Effectively communicate within the team/org and negotiate timelines, decision making, and feedback
- Support Creative Director and team in production of photoshoots for physical projects
- Independently act as the main point of contact for your creative workstreams, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders such as brand teams, visual merchandising, retail, design, etc
- Maintain organization across all project documents, shared drives (Google Drive, Sharepoint, Airtable, etc.), calendars, and meetings (scheduling, sending recaps, follow-ups, etc.)
- If conflicts or issues arise within projects, identify solutions and contribute to their resolution in a timely manner, escalating to team leaders when needed
- Efficiently use and maintain the processes, systems, and tools in place to support our Creative teams and their bandwidth. Navigate complex processes with ease and dedicate time and energy to implementing better process where needed
- Anticipate both what's happening today and what's ahead; proactively sound the alarm on issues that may derail our process/timeline and team bandwidth.
- Oversee the production of all creative concepts for 360 integrated campaigns including digital marketing, print, video, website, social media, instore displays, PR events, and experiential activations
- Liaise and negotiate of content development between business, marketing, and creative teams
- Lead creative brief and project management process in related status meetings
- Manage, monitor, and report access and use of digital assets to ensure searchability, brand consistency, compliance, and copyrights.
- Manage external vendor relationships and technology partners with timely escalation of any concerns
- Negotiate and manage the budget in partnership with the Marketing teams and Finance
- Identify and integrate new project management, digital asset management and digital proofing technology; lead implementation and templatization across multiple cross-functional teams
- Maintain strict creative and production standards for all customer touchpoints
- Compile and analyze data on studio productivity levels to illustrate an accurate record of current state, and a reliable projection of future state
Position Qualifications
- 5-6 years’ experience as a project manager
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks, with project changes, and reliably meet deadlines to organize and manage teams through the end-to-end creative process
- Experience working with external creative and production partners
- Must be a self-starter, critical thinker, team player, thrives working in a fast-paced environment, organized, detail oriented, collaborative, and flexible
- Excellent interpersonal and people-management skills
- Proficiency in traditional Adobe Creative Cloud applications, Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook
