Director of Airport Operations-Multi-unit Restaurants, MSP

You will establish and maintain client relationships: You will be a steward of the culture, demonstrating and modeling Areas USA’s values and practices clearly with partnering agencies. You will be expected to develop and maintain relationships with landlords, Brands, and ACDBE partners ensuring that we are exceeding their expectations and are satisfied with the experience of working with Areas USA.
What you'll do:
• Assists VP of Operations with developing business strategies to reach organizational goals and objectives.
• Reviews staffing and budget guidelines in conjunction with annual financial statements.
• Acts as corporate representative for public relations activities as needed.
• Work with team members to ensure quality storefronts and timely store openings.
• Assist VP of Operations in resolving design issues and verify that submittals comply with airport authority and management companies design criteria.
• Assist location operators in the execution of day-to-day operations.
• Execute the current business strategy that anticipates rapid growth.
• Interface with Legal, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, Business Development, Finance and other business units in the daily affairs of the operation.
• Develops and maintains an effective organization through the selection, training, compensation, motivation, termination and evaluation of personnel at management and associate levels.
• Provides guidance and direction to management employees to assist in their professional development.
• Conducts Performance Evaluations of the General Managers under his/her supervision.
What will make you successful in this role?
• Degree in Hospitality or related field, master’s degree a plus.
• 5-7+ plus years’ experience in upper management of food, beverage and retail operations handling multiple locations; will consider an equivalent of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple departments and diverse populations.
• Tech savvy, experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and other associated software.
• Be able to lead a team of employees to reach company goals.
