Business Process Specialist

TECHEAD is seeking a Business Process Specialist to define and document business processes within the client's organization and coordinate the implementation of processes.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, design, execute, measure, monitor, and control business processes to improve the organization's efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
- Work with key stakeholders to identify areas of opportunity, research best practices, and develop solutions.
- They also create project plans, adjust them as needed, and ensure compliance with the implementation.
- Gather, organize, verify, and process data.
- Conducting research and deriving insights from data to provide suggestions for business improvements.
- Creating reports or presentations for company leaders to help verify their insights.
- Building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Ensuring alignment and development of efficient and effective processes in line with strategic business objectives.
Skills/Experience:
- Approximately 3-4 years of experience with writing a variety of user documentation for software, business process documents, and some technical documents.
- Self starter with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and with small teams.
- Good editor and proofreader.
- As part of the team, will manage collected, received, or created information that documents, explains, or justifies policies, procedures, decisions, operations and activities of the program.
- Experience consolidating and revamping existing business processes and documentation.
- Fast learner and very comfortable with technology.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Microsoft Word skills that include experience developing documents that use a variety of styles, tables, headers, footers, graphics, and automatic numbering.
- Good Microsoft Excel skills that include experience working with multiple worksheets, forms, merged cells, cell references, advanced cell formatting, borders, shading, and formulas.
- Basic knowledge of SharePoint for document storage and retrieval.
- Must be attentive to detail.
- Must be able to multi-task and manage a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication/customer service skills (Customer Focused).
- Team player with a positive attitude, always professional, and a great listener.
- Individual with a strong work ethic who is goal oriented.
- Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or have 5 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possess a valid Virginia license and have dependable transportation.
