As an RF Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the future of Military / Defense equipment and applications by actively designing, enhancing, and analyzing RF and mixed-signal communications hardware components. This is an exciting opportunity to work at one of Crane A&E's flagship facilities, where you will be engaged in cutting-edge Military & Defense projects and be at the forefront of designing and developing state of-the-art Integrated Microwave Assemblies. You’ll be part of an innovative team pushing the boundaries of technology and working hand in hand with Prime OEMs.
RF Design Engineer Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on RF/Microwave/Millimeter communication hardware projects, from concept to completion.
• Conducting end-to-end systems analysis and utilizing analytical tools, cascade analysis, or up/down converters to model and simulate the performance of circuits or complete systems. • Assist in the design and detailed analysis of RF and mixed-signal components across diverse frequency ranges.
• Contribute to filter modeling, ensuring peak RF communication system performance.
RF Design Engineer Requirements:
• BS in Electrical Engineering, MS preferred.
• Familiarity with microwave/millimeter-wave design principles.
• Knowledge of RF and mixed-signal design technologies, encompassing receivers, synthesizers, and transmitters.
• Experience or keen interest in semiconductor reference design is essential, which includes aspects like schematic diagrams, layout guidelines, BOM, and more.
