ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS -

Ensure incoming goods dimensional conformity to drawing using all metrology equipment.
Define and document in coordination with method engineering the key product characteristics and implement CMM inspection criteria and procedures.
Provide inspection activity for products throughout the production cycle.
Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.
Maintain active role on internal continuous improvement teams.

JOB REQUIREMENTS -

Ability to read and understand mechanical technical drawings.
Proficient CMM (Zeiss Contura) and measuring arm (FARO ARM), programming and usage knowledge.
Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office
Expert in metrology.
Knowledge of GD&T set of tools
Bilingual: English & Spanish
Experience in metrology within a metal-mechanic manufacturing environment.
