We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our expanding organization. In this critical role, you will lead efforts to design, implement, and maintain robust security measures to protect our clients' infrastructure and sensitive information. As a subject matter expert, you will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security protocols throughout all aspects of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain secure network architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and other security devices
- Implement and configure security solutions, such as identity and access management, multi-factor authentication, encryption, and vulnerability scanning tools
- Conduct risk assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify potential weaknesses and recommend remediation strategies
- Develop incident response plans and procedures, coordinate responses to security incidents, and perform post-incident analysis to prevent future occurrences
- Stay current with emerging trends, threats, and regulations in the cybersecurity landscape and apply best practices accordingly
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external partners, and clients to address complex security challenges
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- CISSP or CISM Certification
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering roles, preferably within a consulting or managed service provider setting
- Expertise in network security, endpoint protection, cloud security, and application security
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR)
- Experience conducting threat modeling, risk analyses, and security assessments
- Proficient in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and familiarity with automation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, etc.)
