Job Title: Scientist (Actual: Associate Scientist)
Location: Durham, NC 27703
Duration: 6+ months
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Description:
- The Associate Scientist needs to be a recent graduate with a BS degree in Biology, Chemistry or related field.
- The Candidate will maintain and complete accurate records.
- Operate digital microscopes, centrifuge, burette, scales, etc.
- Clean production equipment.
- Set up and disassemble product equipment.
- Operate specific in-process devices for testing associated with the equipment (i.e. hardness testers, pH meters, pipette, titration assays, etc.).
- Must always stay within GMP compliance.
Qualifications:
- Experience in veterinarian care and animal experience a plus.
- Experience operating all referenced equipment.
- Record keeping experience required.
- Must be familiar with general safety procedure and guidelines.
- Must be self-motivated and have a strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications required.
