What you will be doing:
- Design and develop electronic circuitry in low and high voltage environments (28 Volt, 270 Volt, 115 Volt AC)
- Write developing analysis for the circuits and develop justification report
- Interpret customer requirements and guidelines and apply to actual design of circuitry
- Run projects interfacing with subcontractors and customers
- Full command of Altium and application and electronic board layouts including IPCA standard
- CAN bus application and integration
- Plan and perform engineering/validation tests for new HW, SW and environmental requirements
- Write programs, debug and maintain existing programs
What you need to qualify:
- 10+ years' experience in designing electronic circuits board and validation process for new builds, testing, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Power Electronics or valid experience in this field, is required
- Command of writing reports and justification documentation, test reports, test results in a methodical and systematic way where the requirement and objectives are well defined
- Experience with BLDC motor design and power electronics
- Experience in Aerospace and aircraft applications
- Ability to perform root cause analysis troubleshooting of electronics HW and SW for corrective action
- Experience with C++, DSP Programming, PSPice and MATLAB modeling, and CAN serial bus protocol, or LabView is a plus
