Purpose of Position
We are looking for a systems engineer with a successful track record in machine development to join our small dynamic team of accomplished engineers. We have a mixture of both incremental and innovative design work ahead of ourselves. In this small company, you will do everything from design through testing, documenting and release to production. The successful candidate will be able to coordinate technical activities of different engineers and help pull together a system solution. Given our unique product, you will have the opportunity to learn from fellow engineers. This individual reports directly to the VP of Hardware Engineering. This role will focus on the sub-systems responsible for generating and controlling therapeutic radiation, thus background and knowledge in high voltage RF is a plus.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with fellow engineers to create cross-functional solutions
- Coordinate sub-system development, testing and documenting
- Coordination and implementation of high voltage RF components and supporting systems
- Identify requirements at the system and sub-system level
- Generate test protocols from requirements
- Identify system problems which may generate future project work
- Execute engineering discovery and verification testing
- Work with the manufacturing floor to ensure correct flow of knowledge for production
- Work with the field service team to improve reliability and system diagnostics
- Work with vendors to specify standard or custom components
Qualifications
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 7 years of experience of relevant industry experience. Or master’s degree in engineering with minimum of 4 years of experience.
Experience Requirements
- Hands-on experience integrating and working with electro-mechanical machines and robotics.
- Integration and testing using off-the-shelf and custom components.
- Experience with high voltage RF systems is strongly preferred

- Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required
