$60,000 - $75,000/Annually – based on level and experience

Our long-standing client is an eco-friendly design firm based out of the Chicagoland area. Established in the mid 1990's, they have been continually growing and expanding business across the US for decades. Currently, they are seeking two project-driven and customer-oriented professionals to join their Carol Stream office and manage commercial projects from A to Z. As a Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for working on key initiatives and building strong relationships across the company to successfully complete projects and be the liaison between the department and customers. As a Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the team, ensuring high quality and timely completion of projects.
Ideal candidates for this role MUST be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have the ability to communicate effectively, and have project management experience in design.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely project completion by communicating with all necessary parties (customers, Sales Department, supervisors, suppliers, etc.); ensure project remains within budgetary constraints
- Generate quotations and track orders through the shipping process; provide updates to customers regarding project status
- Practice effective decision making while presented with various options for quotations and project completion
- Read and interpret architectural drawings
- Build and maintain customer relationships; exercise multitasking and problem-solving while completing customer requests and ensure customer satisfaction
- Execute all projects following company policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of project management experience in design
- Strong math skills to ensure accurate measurements and calculations
- AutoCAD is a plus
- Ability to read floor plans is preferred, but not required
- Tech savvy
- Diligent follow up and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask
