iTalent Digital is seeking a Technical, Agile Project Manager to join our dynamic team of professional technology consultants. This is an exciting role and the individual selected will help our leading retail client reach their strategic initiatives.
You will join our Digital Transformation and PMO Group. 90% of your work will be client focused. 10% of your work will be internal.
Remote is ok with Pacific time zone working hours
OR - Bay Area preferred for 1-3 days in the SF client office
The internal responsibilities will be as follows:
- Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
- Collaborate with your iTD practice team on industry thought leadership.
- Complete client case studies and learning material. (Blogs, media material).
- Build out material to contribute to Digital Transformation practice.
- Attend internal iTD networking events (in person and virtual).
- Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
As a Project Manager, you'll have excellent relationship building, leadership, project and team management skills and the ability to deliver business results with quality. You will bring a breadth of experience that will make you a valuable contributing member of the project team and not just a task driver and status provider. This is an exciting area of the company delivering cutting edge solutions.
- Leverage your stores, retail technology, and POS (preferred) experience to roll out initiatives at brick and mortar stores.
- Run Scrum teams using Agile methodologies using JIRA.
- Work with both internal and external stakeholders ensuring all milestones are tracked and reported.
- Communicate clearly possess strong business acumen and ability to influence cross-collaborative teams are essential for these roles.
- Plan, schedule, estimate, coordinate, manage, and deliver the projects within our waterfall and agile hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Ensure development and project processes are followed for successful implementations (for planning, implementation, testing) and ensure that exceptions to the process be transparent with risks understood and approved at appropriate organizational levels.
- Oversee the daily progress of the store digital projects with regard to time, budget, scope, and quality.
- Understand downstream impact of issues and effectively and proactively inform and escalate to key stakeholders.
- Proactively and aggressively manage project risk and issues defining mitigation efforts.
- Represent the PMO and PMO expectations within the project team.
Required qualifications and skills:
- Be able to clearly articulate the stages of a project you have led, including your specific contributions, stakeholders involved, and the business outcome.
- 4+ years in project management. Preferably in the Retail store digital space (store technologies). Delivery of technology solutions in retail stores, working with merchants payment services and processing a huge plus.
- Experience in Agile and scrum master and sprint planning, well organized, with solid communication.
- JIRA experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience ability to quickly identify critical decision points and any potential project risks, provide solutions to team.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and excel in a dynamic and fast paced environment with critical deadlines to meet.
- Effectively collaborate and influence in a highly-matrixed organization.
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to communicate at all organizational levels.
