The Food Spot Program Director will craft global programming in regards to Food Spots, up to and including; food hubs, coffee bars and microkitchens. The position will have a hand in concept development, merchandising creation, organization and curation of the various food spots. An entrepreneurial mind is key in sourcing creative meal replacement options. The Food Spot Program manager will also chart productivity and create measurement reports to understand the user and needs of each individual location.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years multi-unit retail food programs
- Familiarity of Supply chain
- Familiarity with packaged/prepared food
- Plus to have Coffee and Snack merchandising experience
- Must be able to communicate with others to convey information effectively.
- Must be able to communicate in English with customers.
- Ability to use Google suite programs for inputting and organizing data, ordering, and communication regarding feedback.
Position Responsibilities:
- Ensure all food spots comply with our core principles and programs.
- Cascade programming to feet on the ground teams.
- 30%-40% travel to Food Spot Locations
- Confirm that all Guckenheimer & the client’s standards are met for the Micro Kitchen program.
- Partner with Manager of New Projects and Development in concept and design of new food spots.
- Must follow all safety rules and actively prevent accidents.
- Commit to the service values and ethics of the client company. In doing so, also strive for continuous improvement, through monitoring the quality of the product and service provided to the customers.
- Merchandise food products, innovate and curate the food spot experience to create an appealing and engaging display that delights and entices users.

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.Up to and including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Job requires the applicant to be reliable, responsible, dependable and capable of fulfilling obligations.
- Job requires the applicant to be accepting of criticism and the ability to calmly and effectively handle high stress situations.
- Organize staff to ensure quality and timely deliveries
- Knowledge of basic equipment including coffee machines, refrigeration, and water dispensers
- Experience with design and innovative concept development in Food Spot, included and but not limited to coffee bars.
- Has a deep desire to anticipate, engage and satisfy customer needs.
Nonessential Skills:
- Current ServSafe certification
- Identify new presentation techniques.
- Stay current with industry trends and user feedback.
Physical Demands and Working Environment:
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 25#. Employee must be able to work on their feet 7.5 hours per day excluding breaks.
- Employee had to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods.
- Deliver catered food to other campus locations using carts and vans.

The annual salary range for this position is $150k - $170k. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
