As an Endpoint Engineer focused on Microsoft Intune and Autopilot, you will be responsible for designing, deploying and managing endpoint solutions to support our client's organization's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with IT teams and end-users to ensure effective device management, compliance and support.
Endpoint Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Intune and Autopilot. Ensure efficient deployment and configuration of devices
- Oversee the provisioning of devices using Autopilot, including configuration profiles, policies and application installations
- Configure and manage Intune policies for device compliance, security and application management. Provide support and troubleshooting for endpoint-related issues
- Implement and enforce security policies to protect company data and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Maintain detailed documentation of configuration settings, deployment processes and troubleshooting steps. Prepare regular reports on endpoint performance and compliance
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and integrate endpoint management solutions with other IT systems and processes
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance endpoint management processes and solutions
Endpoint Engineer Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot. Proven experience in managing and deploying endpoint devices in a corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Windows operating systems and endpoint security. Familiarity with PowerShell scripting is a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex issues related to endpoint management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate) are a plus
- This position requires being onsite in our client's Chicago office 4 days a week. Occasional remote work flexibility may be available
