Fast-growing AI company is seeking highly-qualified Senior Systems Administrator to help release and support disruptive technologies to address real-world challenges in the healthcare industry. Duties:
- Provide technical support to employees
- Troubleshoot computer and network problems
- Install and update company software and hardware
- Assist other IT staff as needed
- Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems
- Document activities in IT service management system
- Organize and maintain technology inventory
- Perform patch management/updates to systems
- Contribute to the company’s ongoing HITRUST compliance certification efforts
- Implement information security controls to secure confidential data
- Adhere to configuration management processes and standards
- Apply appropriate system hardening processes to deployed systems
- Create documentation of processes, networks, and systems
- Collaborate with other organizations within the company
- Provide internal on-call support as assigned
Skills:
- Substantial knowledge of Windows operating systems, software, and scripting
- In-depth experience with Microsoft Hyper-V
- Experience deploying servers with GPUs
- Experience with managing network switches, routers, and firewalls
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to create innovative solutions
- Ability to effectively organize work files, technical inventory, and standard work tasks
- Efficient and systematic troubleshooting abilities
- Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening
- Highly organized and a stickler for details
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Required:
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in a Systems Administrator role
- Experience with Microsoft Hyper-V with GPUs
- Able to lift 50 pounds (servers and other equipment)
- US Citizen
Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
- Certification from CompTIA or Microsoft
- Experience with MS SQL server
- Health care data management or compliance experience
- Software development experience
