Job Title: Telecommunications Lead
Location: Fort Hunter Liggett, CA
Clearance: Interim Secret
Pay: 90-95k/year

Must have skills/experience/certs and/or technologies:
- Strong background in cable plant support services to include:
- Cable plant management
- Copper and fiber optic installation, maintenance, and splicing
- Manhole experience (OHSA confined space familiarization)
- Cable locating experience
- Experience in fault locating
- Minimum of 7 years experience in OSP cable maintenance
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a Lead Telecom position
- BICSI Installer 2 certification (company provided) within 6 months of hire
- Active or Interim U.S. government Secret Security Clearance
- Avaya (Nortel) Meridian CS1000 central office experience

Job Description:
- Lead a team of technicians in day-to-day telecommunications duties
- Repair and maintain OSP cable facilities including poles, underground services, and conduit
- Test and monitor confined space air quality per OSHA regulations
- Inspect, pump excess water, clean out debris, make minor repairs and maintain manholes
- Maintain and repair/replace cable related defects
- Perform Moves, Adds, and Changes on the base Nortel/Avaya CS1000 and Meridian Mail systems
- Lift and load equipment and material that may weigh more than 50 pounds
- Assure dependable and uninterrupted operation of telephone communications by proactively identifying problems
- Identify problems by using electronic testing equipment
- Telecom cable locating and marking
- Other duties as assigned
