Quality Control/Safety Manager

About the Role: As the Quality Control/Safety Manager, you will be the driving force behind maintaining and enhancing quality control and safety programs by collaborating with several internal teams. Your expertise in worker safety, OSHA regulations, and environmental compliance will be crucial in creating a safe and efficient workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain quality control processes, ensuring compliance with NPCA standards.
- Lead a team of 2-3 quality control personnel, conducting daily inspections, and managing concrete mix design and performance data.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all manufactured products, maintaining full compliance with industry regulations.
- Manage safety and health processes, ensuring adherence to OSHA regulations, and implementing preventive measures to reduce workplace incidents.
- Conduct regular safety training, audits, and record-keeping for all manufactured products, maintaining full compliance.
- Collaborate with management to review and approve plant changes, ensuring environmental, health, and safety impacts are properly addressed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience leading teams in quality control and safety management within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NPCA certifications, and concrete design.
- ACI Field Testing Technician Grade I certification is required.
- Willingness to obtain additional certifications, including NPCA, OSHA 10, 30, and 500.
- B.S. Degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.
Work Environment:
- Full-time/ on-site: Mon-Fri
- Ability to travel domestically for audits and inspections if needed
