About the Role:
As an Assistant Superintendent, you will be an essential part of the construction management team. You will work closely with the Superintendent to oversee the successful execution of projects across various sectors, including K-12 education, justice facilities, government infrastructure, and industrial developments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects and grow within a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Superintendent in managing daily on-site construction activities.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
- Monitor project progress and provide updates to the project management team.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during construction.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of project activities.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction, particularly in ground-up projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with construction management software is a plus.
