Position: Software Test Engineer
Location: Oxnard, CA
Salary: Up to $130,000

Our client operates in the manufacturing sector, specializing in the design of various motion controllers. Their focus is on servo drives, delivering a broad array of reliable, high-performance motion solutions for any system.
Overview:
This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, such as coding (at least 2+ years’ experience with C++), overseeing routine production testing, and providing support to Digital and Analog Design Engineers. The ideal candidate is a flexible team player who can effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop codes for automated software testing
- Implement test software within engineering facilities to the design requirements.
- Provide testability input on new product development designs.
- Support manufacturing test of analog and embedded devices.
- Develop new processes and methodologies for improved quality, lower product costs and cycle time.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of professional code writing experience (C++ experience is mandatory).
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers).
- Programming skills in text-based languages (C++, C#).
- Review schematics to ensure that the electrical circuits are accessible and testable.
