We are looking for a Structural Engineers to join a small but expanding structural engineering firm located in the beautiful Rhode Island. We are looking for a full-time Structural Engineer with 4+ years of experience. We are in need of an ambitious candidate that is fluent in AutoCAD and must have the ability to produce structural designs and details for commercial and residential buildings under tight time constraints; knowledge of Revit is considered a plus. This person is required to have previous design experience with buildings and have an understanding of steel, wood, and concrete construction. They need to be very reliable, hardworking, and self starter that enjoys a challenge. You would be joining an energetic team environment with potential for development and growth. We will be discrete with all candidate interactions.
Requirements:
-BS degree in engineering from an accredited school (Structural, Civil, or similar)
-EIT/FE certification preferred, not required
-4+ years of structural design experience in the building design industry
-Familiarity in building codes and design standards
-Experienced in wood-framed construction
-Excellent AutoCAD skills
-Strong writing/grammar skills
-Detail oriented
-Able to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with Architects, Builders, and Owners
-Eligible to work in the United States
