Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Manager to oversee and coordinate all electrical controls efforts for our client. This role involves expanding and managing vendor resources, developing budgets and proposals, and providing technical leadership. You will also play a key role in project management, from procuring services to maintaining client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define scopes for electrical controls aspects of various projects.
- Develop internal budgets and proposals with the Business Development Team.
- Manage and build vendor resources, overseeing controls deliverables.
- Participate in management discussions on self-execution and potential acquisitions.
- Provide technical leadership and oversee all controls activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in the food industry.
- Proficient in Allen Bradley PLCs; Siemens experience helpful.
- Experience with AutoCAD and other engineering software.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of industry practices and USDA & FDA guidelines.
- Valid US Driver’s License and the ability to obtain a passport if required.
Work Conditions:
- Office environment with occasional travel to client sites.
- Overtime may be required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, and climbing as needed.
