JOB SUMMARY:
Mechanical design engineer of water filtration systems utilizing mechanical engineering parameters for the development of water filtration systems including pressure vessels, pipe work, valves, skids, automation systems & electrical systems, etc. SolidWorks software is critical to meet job functions including possible technical support to include but not limited to evaluating customers technical support needs via email, phone, site visits or other correspondence for evaluating in the field operational conditions and providing a positive remedial action. Development of BOMs, part numbers and collaboration with purchasing for vendor sourcing. New product development, enhancement and evaluation for product improvements of current product line will be required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Water Filtration Design including pressure vessel, manifolds, hydraulic and pneumatic layout, control and automation, electrical and conduit, etc.
- Alternative pressure vessel design and engineering outside of the water purification industry.
- Utilization of SolidWorks for engineering drawing development
- Technical writing of instruction manuals, technical guides, shop operating procedures, etc.
- Possible on-Site startup visits both domestically and/or internationally.
- New product development & product improvement of current product lines.
- Other duties as required or assigned.
ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Previous production experience, 5+ years.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite software at Intermediate to Advanced experience level.
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills to communicate effectively and interact with clients, all levels of management and staff.
- Professional conduct and appearance.
- Ability and desire to want to grow and be a team player within our organization.
- Lifting: 0-20 lbs. unassisted, 50-100 lbs. assisted.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to legally work within the United States.
