Our client is a top provider in smart devices, wireless products, autonomous robotics, and more for commercial IoT. To support their continued development, they are hiring a Manufacturing Process Engineer to design, develop, and execute testing procedures for software and hardware components.
The Manufacturing Process Engineer will interpret and provide test results to others to improve product quality. This person will be responsible for producing well-designed and well-tested code and web platforms, with the ability to apply creative solutions to problems, and thrive in a cross-functional team environment.

Focus:
- Develop robust manufacturing test fixtures, software frameworks, and factory workflows in collaboration with hardware and firmware engineering leads.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and design engineering teams to address and resolve testing issues.
- Analyze and interpret test data, preparing technical reports for engineering, manufacturing, and management personnel.
- Develop and implement communication protocols for external devices using Bluetooth, USB/HID, and UART technologies.
- Build and maintain test fixtures, support engineering, design, and validation activities using PCBA equipment.
- Support the development and maintenance of automated test sequences and frameworks.
- Conduct RF measurements and analyze pass/fail rates to ensure product quality.
- Create and maintain standard coding documentation for automation/testing frameworks.
- Work cross-functionally to optimize workflows and improve release quality.
- Seek opportunities to enhance efficiency in quality-related processes and procedures.
- Learning the Company’s test and manufacturing systems to help troubleshoot issues with the factory
- Be available for on-call support from 8 PM to midnight during New Product Introduction (NPI) phases or critical production events to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of any issues.
- Engage in opportunities to work on TestStand, LabView, or hardware development projects aimed at enhancing and optimizing the fixtures and sequences we maintain.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in hardware and software testing, including automated factory environments.
- Proficiency with National Instruments LabVIEW, TestStand, and SQL.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in electronic hardware design using Altium or similar tools, with a strong understanding of analog, digital, and RF circuits.
- Proficiency with communication protocols (Ethernet, RS232, GPIB, etc.) and understanding of RESTful API design.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems and single-board computer platforms (Raspberry Pi, Beaglebone).
- Proficiency with RF instruments (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters).
- Experience in defining relational database schemas, designing and optimizing queries, and working with mechanical design drawings using SolidWorks.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, high energy and positive attitude, and willingness to travel internationally (up to 20%).
