Location: The job location is Aurora, IL and requires in-office attendance 3 to 4 days a week
Requirements
Functional/Technical Competencies:
- 10+ years of experience, product implementation for clients a plus
- University degree (any field)
- Technical knowledge (.NET, SQL) preferred
- Experience working with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI (preferred)
- US Healthcare knowledge (Payer Domain)
Role:
The role of the Product Consultant is to provide leadership on implementation projects through the pre-sales support, discovery, analysis, and configuration phases. This role will need to understand (or quickly develop the understanding of) the customer needs and our platform structure to enable effective solutions for the customer. This role will lead the team delivering the user stories that drive the implementation and QA activities for each sprint. The Product Consultant provides leadership and drives collaboration inside and outside of their assigned team to help deliver solutions that meet all the stakeholder needs. They will report to their assigned Product Manager within the company.
Responsibilities
- Develop in depth product knowledge and get certified internally for the Platform
- Lead a team of Associate Product Consultants & Business Analysts, collaborating on key tasks, and offering guidance for best practices.
- Focusing on customer requirements, product increments and project management to coordinate efforts between the Scrum Delivery Teams, Quality Assurance and Product Development teams.
- Act as product SME – point of contact for customers & on-shore, off-shore delivery teams for questions/ requests/ configurations/ issues on the working of the product.
- Provide training sessions for clients on the proper use and implementation of products to ensure optimal utilization.
- Show self-initiative in performing research and obtaining needed data or information during the Product Configuration & Build Stage.
- Work with Product Development team on user stories as needed and validate the work done by the Product Development team as needed in the form of UAT testing.
- Responsible for maintaining and updating functional test cases for features and functions per sprint, release.
- Identify issues, updates and conduct necessary analysis and draw conclusions and finding with limited guidance.
- Configuration activities as required within the product through the UI.
- Conduct analysis of large sets of data/documents, data models with limited guidance
- Other duties as assigned.
