IDR is seeking an AV Technician to join one of our top clients in Corpus Christi!
Position Overview/Responsibilities:
The AV Technician is responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and repair of audiovisual systems used in various settings such as conference rooms, auditoriums, classrooms, and events. This role involves ensuring that all AV equipment functions smoothly and efficiently, providing technical support to users, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
The core duties include requirement analysis, conducting review meetings with subject matter experts (SMEs), documenting complex system requirements, processes, test scenarios, test scripts, and training, performing hands-on testing, and supporting multiple test cycles.
Required Skills:
- 2+ years’ experience as an AV Technician
- Proficiency with AV systems including projectors, sound systems, mixing boards, video conferencing tools, and streaming platforms. Familiarity with AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX) and video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams)
