Position: Security Systems Vendor Coordinator
Location: Fully Remote (Working hours are EST)
Duration: 6 month contract to hire
Hours Per Week: 15 Hours (Part Time)
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 4+ years of experience in security, compliance, or IT
- Experienced in Field Operations
- Verkada / Genetec / Lenel (Cloud based Physical Security System Monitoring)
Plusses:
- Previous experience being in the field / integrator side
- Cameras, Access Controls, Intrusions detection, etc.
- Experience with Convergence
Overview:
Insight Global is looking for a Security Systems Vendor Coordinator to join one of our largest manufacturing companies in the Pittsburgh area. In this role as a Security Systems Vendor Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of security system projects from initiation to completion. Your role will involve managing alarm systems, visitor management protocols, ticketing systems, and vendor access to view projects. You will be tasked with mapping out projects, coordinating bids, and ensuring projects are progressing efficiently and effectively.
Day to Day:
- Coordinate the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of alarm systems to ensure optimal security measures are in place.
- Implement and manage visitor management protocols to regulate access to facilities and enhance overall security measures.
- Maintain and oversee the ticketing system used for tracking security issues, incidents, and maintenance tasks.
- Facilitate vendor access to view projects, ensuring compliance with security protocols and regulations.
- Map out security system projects, solicit bids from vendors, and evaluate proposals for project implementation.
- Ensure the smooth progression of security system projects by coordinating efforts between installers, integrators, and site personnel.
- Evaluate and process requests for new security systems, ensuring alignment with organizational security objectives and requirements.
- Implement enhancements to existing security systems to improve functionality, efficiency, and overall security measures.
Compensation: $40.00-50.00/HR
