Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Solutions Architect to lead and implement technical solutions for our Benefits and Compensation Oracle Fusion modules. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in information technology with extensive experience in designing, developing, and implementing software applications. As a Solutions Architect, you will collaborate with various business units, provide guidance on best practices, and create a technology roadmap to drive business goals. You will be responsible for leading technical teams, mentoring developers, and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Benefits Module Support:
- Provide support for the Open Enrollment (OE) Benefit Cycle 2024.
- Assist in configuring Oracle Benefit Fusion Cloud in preparation for OE.
- Align configurations with industry best practices and process guidance.
- Address any issues that may impact the open enrollment cycle.
- Update configuration workbooks and training materials.
- Manage areas of consideration including 401k plans, elements, ACA data, life events, enrollment rules, and vendor integrations.
Compensation Module Support:
- Review and optimize the current grade and grade ladders setup to enhance the compensation cycle.
- Enable grade and grade ladders at the position level.
- Remove custom solutions to reduce manual work and enable out-of-the-box functionality.
- Reconfigure grade and grade ladders for both union and non-union workforces.
- Provide guidance on performing “what if” analysis for planned salary increases.
- Configure compensation plans for bonus and merit cycles across the U.S., Central America, and Puerto Rico.
- Enable reports, dashboards, discretionary budget processing, approval flows, and total compensation statements within the compensation module.
- Review and implement redwood functionalities to enhance the merit process.
- Ensure successful processing of merit plans through to payroll.
General Responsibilities:
- Lead as a technical expert in identifying and implementing solutions within the Benefits and Compensation Oracle Fusion modules.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Develop models and strategies to enhance business performance.
- Conduct reviews of customer requirements, use cases, and architecture to identify issues and make recommendations.
- Implement best practices for software and system architecture.
- Collaborate with business units on project implementation and delivery.
- Create and maintain the technology roadmap to achieve business goals.
- Review and approve work performed by team members and third-party vendors.
- Mentor other developers to improve their technical and professional skills.
- Monitor the market to stay informed about emerging technologies and assess their relevance and value.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in software application design, development, and implementation.
- 5+ years of experience in information technology.
- Extensive experience with Oracle Fusion Benefits and Compensation modules.
- Strong knowledge of open enrollment processes and compensation plan configurations.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor developers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various business units.
- Ability to create and maintain technology roadmaps to meet business goals.
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging hardware/software technologies and their potential applications.
