They have an opportunity for an IT Analyst in their New York office.
Position Overview:
The IT Analyst is an entry-level position responsible for delivering technology solutions and support to clients, managing daily IT operations within assigned offices, and facilitating the use of meeting technology tools and events. This role also contributes to continuous organizational improvement and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical resource for clients, providing timely assistance and high-quality solutions for software and hardware needs.
- Facilitate and support meeting technology events, including video conferences, presentations, and special events.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate scheduling and execution of meetings and events.
- Install and maintain software in accordance with departmental standards and procedures.
- Coordinate with IT teams to resolve software and hardware issues.
- Ensure the operational availability of office computers and printers.
- Maintain the accuracy of the asset management system.
- Use call tracking technology to document and manage service requests from start to resolution.
- Act as a liaison between IT groups and clients to ensure service requests are completed to the client's satisfaction.
- Participate in IT initiatives, projects, and deployments.
- Support mobile device technologies and promote remote access tools.
- Coordinate planned and unplanned service events, including network maintenance and critical outages.
- Adhere to data security policies and ensure the proper handling of firm data.
- Work beyond scheduled hours as needed, with light travel required on occasion.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability.
Required Proficiencies:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and application installation processes.
- Proficiency in Service Now, EMS conference room reservation system, and related technologies.
- Expertise in remote access technologies (Citrix, VPN) and mobile device management (iOS).
- Advanced understanding of networking technologies, cabling topologies, and data communication devices.
- Experience with Document Management Systems (iManage/Work 10) and security applications.
- Strong customer service skills and project management experience.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (preferred), or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in customer support, software, hardware, and networking technologies.
- Experience with LAN, WAN, and network systems support.
- Experience in configuring, installing, and maintaining PC operating systems.
- Experience in a professional services or law firm environment (preferred).
