We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Des Moines, IA. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, coding, and implementing highly performant solutions. You will work alongside a team of developers and analysts to leverage Cloud-native architecture components, including containers, immutable infrastructure, and microservices, to build highly available and fault-tolerant applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation: Design, write code, and implement high-performance solutions as part of a collaborative team.
- Cloud-Native Architecture: Utilize Cloud-native architecture components, such as containers and microservices, to build scalable and resilient applications.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Maintain and continuously improve our Cloud-based infrastructure.
- AWS Tools: Use AWS tools, including CloudFormation, Lambda, Containers, Postgres, and other platform tools, to build world-class applications.
- Agile Methodologies: Work within Agile methodologies to ensure effective and efficient project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in Python programming.
- Strong experience with relational databases.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Proven experience in enterprise Cloud transformation.
- Proficient in using Docker or other OCI certified containers.
- Extensive AWS skills, including but not limited to CloudFormation, Lambda, and Postgres.
- Understanding of Cloud-native architecture and its components.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with immutable infrastructure.

- Understanding of highly available and fault-tolerant application design.
