Child & Adolescent Outpatient Hybrid Locum Tenens Job in the Greater Los Angeles AreaDetails/Requirements: Need is for child & adolescent outpatient locum tenens coverage for 20-25 hours a week (possibly as much as 30 hours but not on a consistent basis) starting ASAP x ongoing.
Patient age range is 0-25 years, child/adolescent and transitional age youth ages 16-25. Temporary for up to 6 months with the possibility of transitioning into the client s vacant part-time direct-hire Psychiatrist position if it s a good fit.
Could be asked to do all in person/onsite services for the first 3 months for 20 hours a week, no remote tele psychiatry. After that, hybrid services can be done, 50/50 onsite/tele health. Client uses Ring Central for tele health.
Hours: flexible regarding days/hours worked between 8:30am and 5pm Monday through Friday.
No call.
Two 30 minute admin time per day for an 8-hour work day. The outpatient cases don't have a case manager. For more intense patients, usually case managers are with them.
90-120 minutes for initial evaluations and 30-45 minutes for medication follow ups.
Electronic health record, CERNER, which you will receive training on and be required to use for writing chart notes.
Must be a child trained psychiatrist; however, board certification is not required.
Takes approximately two weeks for credentialing.
Prefer 6-month minimum assignments.
