Position: Electrical Engineer - Conveyor Equipment Assembly and Installation
Location: Newman, GA (Primary), with 50% travel to customer sites

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our clients team in Newman, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and installing conveyor equipment at our client site in Newman and traveling to various customer sites to install these systems. This role requires a commitment to quality, safety, and excellence in engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly of Conveyor Systems:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to understand equipment and control systems.
- Assemble conveyor equipment components in accordance with engineering specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct pre-installation testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and reliability.
Installation at Customer Sites:
- Travel to various customer sites (approximately 50% travel required) to install conveyor systems.
- Perform on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of conveyor equipment.
- Ensure all installations comply with electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with customers and site managers to ensure smooth installation processes and address any technical issues that arise.
Technical Support and Maintenance:
- Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for installed conveyor systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner.
- Train customers and end-users on the proper operation and maintenance of the conveyor systems.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on industrial equipment assembly and installation.
- Hands-on experience with conveyor systems is highly desirable.
