Title: Penetration Tester
Location: Louisville, KY (Hybrid)
Shift: 1st, Monday-Friday
Pay: $30hrly-$35hrly
Day to Day:
As a computer security professional, you play a crucial role in safeguarding information systems.
You will conduct discovery of exploitable systems, services, and components owned or contracted by Metro. Additionally, you inspect new services purchased by Metro to manage third-party risk. Collaborating with key stakeholders, you address and correct identified exploitable deficiencies. Your work includes structured penetration testing of Metro systems, training and mentoring stakeholders on threat-surface reduction frameworks (such as OWASP, CIS-CAT, and NIST CSF), creating professional briefs on risk assessments and penetration tests, and collecting real-world threat intelligence for future testing efforts. Minimum hourly rate starts at 30/hr.
Desired Skills and Experiences:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer sciences, cyber security, or related field with emphasis on ethical hacking.
- Three (3) years of experience in red team operations and ethical hacking or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
OR
- Six (6) years of experience in red team operations and ethical hacking or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
