Overview: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, implement, and review manufacturing procedures and equipment, including stamping presses, lasers, and automation systems. Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial or mechanical engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with MRP systems is a plus.
- Anticipate $100K-$120K + benefits, 401K, PTO, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize manufacturing methods for efficiency.
- Maintain and inspect mechanical equipment.
- Design layouts, select equipment, and develop cost-effective processes.
- Improve current processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Implement safety and quality controls.
- Design and test mechanical and electrical components.
- Develop specifications for mechanical devices.
- Apply principles of heat transfer, thermodynamics, mechanics, and hydraulics.
- Justify and support capital projects.
- Collaborate on process improvements.
- Standardize work procedures to improve plant performance.
- Train personnel on new equipment and processes.
- Analyze production data for improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and Six Sigma.
- Experience with facility layout, process design, PFMEA, and DOE.
- Effective communication at all levels.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams to project completion.
- Problem-solving skills using analytical techniques.
- Creative solution development for technological advancements.
- Willingness to travel up to 10%.
