Fully ON-SITE position, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Value Stream Manager to oversee production across Assembly Lines 1-9, Sheet Metal, Copper, Electrical Box Pre-assembly, and Finished Goods Warehouse/Shipping. This role involves managing production capacity, headcount planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Management:Oversee production capacity, headcount, and efficiency of designated areas.
- Support and enhance associate training programs.
- 5S and BPS: Maintain 5S standards and support Production Systems (PS) Essentials and Akkodis 14Q Principles.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements using Shainin, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop cross-functional teams.
- Technical Expertise: Apply knowledge of TPM, machining practices, and Industry 4.0.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7-10 years in manufacturing, with 5-7 years in a managerial role.
- Experience with TPM, Industry 4.0, and continuous improvement techniques.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work internationally.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
