Our client is a prominent global organization in the materials industry, known for its extensive portfolio of valuable assets and significant reserves. They are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee the operational transition of large-scale capital projects.
The Global Operations Transition Manager will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth transition of assets from the design and construction phases to full-scale operational status.

Focus:
- Lead and develop the Operational Readiness team, ensuring that all operational aspects of the readiness plans are thoroughly prepared and executed for each project.
- Provide strategic input and tactical support for project-specific scopes, schedules, budgets, and progress tracking, ensuring alignment with project goals and operational safety.
- Collaborate with Project Readiness Managers (PRMs) globally, offering guidance and support to refine and deliver readiness plans in conjunction with design, construction, commissioning, and site operations.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with site GMs, corporate leaders, and Project Directors to align operational readiness with corporate execution and site operational objectives.
- Stay informed on industry best practices, company standards, and regulatory changes to continually enhance the Operational Readiness program.
- Perform additional duties as necessary to support the company's strategic goals.
Skill Set:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field with at least ten (10) years of relevant experience in project management, engineering, operations, maintenance, or construction. Alternatively, a High School Diploma with fifteen (15) years of related experience.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and large-scale projects.
- In-depth knowledge of project management, operational readiness processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information.
- Ability to speak technical Spanish and/or Bahasa Indonesia in addition to English is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 25% of the time and up to 50% domestically to various project sites.
