Position Summary:
This position will be part of a highly collaborative and driven IT team that will oversee the daily operations and long-term strategic management of software and technology-related hardware within the IT organization. This includes planning, monitoring, and recording software licenses and IT hardware assets. This role will be responsible to develop and implement procedures for tracking IT assets at all stages of the asset lifecycles.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
- Maintain documentation to support IT asset management activities. Follow all policies and procedures for tracking IT equipment and software.
- Identify and implement a solution to track the acquisition, receipt, storage, and retirement/disposal of IT hardware.
- Create and maintain asset records within an IT asset management database.
- Analyze stock items and identify required stock levels to support business needs.
- Conduct periodic audits to evaluate IT asset data accuracy. Investigate and recommend corrective measures to resolve data accuracy issues.
- Provide training on asset management procedures and tools.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of IT asset management activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
- 2+ years of work experience in an IT service support, asset management, contract management, or purchasing and procurement capacity
- Experience using and configuring IT asset management software and/or inventory-tracking systems, or other analytical tools for asset tracking and inventory control
- Experience working with Accounting Systems with purchasing and inventory control.
- Working knowledge of current IT technologies across a wide variety of areas, including hardware, software including virtual machines, licensing, certificates, and additional components as required.
- Experience preparing and presenting metrics and reports as necessary.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
