Faculty Appt Period: Job Summary: This position serves as the primary academic advisor for Master of Business Administration (MBA) students primarily enrolled online (but not limited to online), through the Watson Graduate School of Management (WGSM) in the Spears School of Business. Position reports to the Director of the Watson Graduate School of Management with touchpoints to the MBA Program Manager/Coordinator at OSU Tulsa, OSU MBA Faculty Director, MBA Program Manager at Stillwater and the Vice Dean of Graduate Programs and Research.Complying with FERPA, Title VII and Title IX, this position evaluates student records; provides support and guidance for students enrolled in the MBA program, performs administrative duties and special projects as assigned; maintains continual flow of email and time-sensitive appointments, represents Spears School of Business and graduate programs in specific meetings; lightly assists MBA scholarship process; and supports online orientation upkeep in online modules. Assists faculty to support various needs related to graduate education. Executes efficient communication across a spectrum of graduate program stakeholders with a personalized touch.The position may choose to have an office in Stillwater or Tulsa. However, for those who choose to office in Tulsa, travel to Stillwater will be required a few times per month and for occasional team-oriented events.Salaries and rank commensurate with education and experience. Computer proficiency will be required to utilize Banner and other university computer programs to assist with student enrollment and advisement processes. Must be service oriented and able to work with a diverse group of faculty, staff, students, and the general public in a fast-paced environment with many interruptions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree and three years of experience in a related setting.
