We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Asset Coordinator to manage and optimize our truck fleet utilization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating truck schedules, maintaining historical records, tracking odometer readings, and ensuring that all trucks are ready for critical software sign-off activities. This role involves close collaboration with team leaders and program managers to resolve truck usage conflicts and support various fleet-related activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate truck utilization and assign schedules to maximize efficiency.
- Maintain and update historical records of truck utilization for reporting and analysis.
- Track and document odometer readings and software levels on test trucks.
- Collaborate with team leaders and program managers to resolve truck usage conflicts.
- Accurately report on truck utilization and fleet health to relevant stakeholders.
- Support critical software sign-off activities by ensuring truck readiness.
- Assist with periodic truck scrapping activities as needed.
- Participate in additional activities to support overall truck readiness.
- Foster strong communication and maintain cooperative, productive work relations across departments.
- Host stand-up meetings with stakeholders and assist in overcoming roadblocks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fleet management or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficient in using fleet management software and tracking tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
