We’re now hiring a Packaging Engineer Manager to support our Brands. This position will be based out in Delano, MN. The full-time employee in this position will be a hands on leader to develop optimal packaging solutions for the companies and will play a key role within cross functional teams. Conduct testing and analysis to access packaging performance, durability, safety and environmental impact.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Leverage comprehensive experience in packaging technology, process development and operations to develop innovative solutions and drive improvements in packaging operations
- Create and ensure technical documentation, including packaging testing protocols
- Prioritize projects, working closely with purchasing team and commercialization
- Create Key Performance Indicators for both internal team and external suppliers
- Provide leadership to packaging group, with responsibility for the design, development, and testing of materials and supplies
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging Engineering, Packaging Science, Related Chemistry or Engineering Field
- Minimum of 5 years of packaging experience and 3 years managing people
- CPG experience
- Film/Bag design experience with packaging manufacturing companies
- Strong analytical, planning, organization and time management skills to effectively execute project plans
- Familiarity with corrugate applications and industry
- Advanced PC skills: Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and experience with ERP systems
