The Role:
My client aims to revolutionize vision care by providing on-site eye exams and prescription glasses within an hour at corporate offices. This innovative approach combines machine learning (ML), augmented reality, and integrated software solutions with traditional optometry practices.
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the product. You will work on developing and implementing AI/ML models for tasks such as facial landscape detection and recommendation systems. Your responsibilities will include building scalable systems, deploying production-ready models, and staying updated with the latest advancements in computer vision and recommendation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and optimize AI/ML models for facial landscape detection and eyewear recommendation systems
• Build and deploy scalable systems and production-ready models.
• Experiment with cutting-edge technologies in computer vision and recommendation systems.
• Enhance the overall user experience by making vision care both enjoyable and efficient.
Minimum Qualifications:
• PhD or MS in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years of machine learning engineering experience or completion of a PhD in AI/ML.
• Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks and production-level Python code.
• A self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
Bonus Skills:
• Experience as a founder or early engineer in a startup setting.
• Full-stack software engineering experience.
• Familiarity with augmented reality technologies.
• In-depth research experience in computer vision and recommendation systems.
