Superlanet is currently looking for an Epic Community Connect Program Director for a healthcare organization that will be a direct hire opportunity on the west coast. This role will be responsible for the program oversight, management, team leadership, and execution of growth directives. They will manage a team responsible for the maintenance and deployment of an Epic hosted electronic medical record model. This requires working closely with the host organization executive and strategic teams, IT leadership, legal, risk, governance committees, vendors, and individual practice leadership.
The Director is responsible for the developing and advancing the Epic Community Connect Program, overseeing activities such as accreditation, budgeting, pricing, contracting and resource management. Effectively, this leaders needs to be able to run an important business line for the host which will ultimately improve the quality of care in the community through improved integrated records and improved services.
Requirements
- Eight (8) years required, 10 years preferred leadership experience and progressive responsibility in Epic
- Technical experience: Strong knowledge of state-of-the art engineering approaches in design, build, testing, debugging problems, and ongoing technical support. Able to articulate previous examples of workflows and processes associated with previous IT experience.
- Clinical experience: Strong knowledge/experience in clinical workflows and processes. Able to articulate previous examples of workflows and processes associated with clinical experience integrated with IT solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role on a major project or change management efforts specific to Epic Community Connect.
- Must be able to handle difficult and sensitive situations, using sound, independent judgment within general policy and legal guideline.
- Prior experience working within a Clinically Integrated Network, with the understanding of the impact on successful partnership between internal and third-party partners.
- Excellent Strategic Thinker: possess ability to provide thoughtful leadership.
