Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to oversee and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent technical knowledge, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Define project milestones and deliverables.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including developers, engineers, and other technical staff. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure that technical solutions meet project requirements and standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to ensure alignment and address concerns.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage project risks to ensure successful delivery.
- Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and ensure that projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations. Implement and enforce best practices and methodologies.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and technical specifications.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certification is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical project management, with a proven track record of managing complex technical projects from inception to completion.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of technical concepts, software development processes, and IT infrastructure. Experience with project management tools and software.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. Experience working in fast-paced environments is a plus.
