We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Management Specialist with a strong background in Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, to join our Sales Strategy/Revenue Operations organization. This individual will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing a project management process that aligns with our unique business model. The role requires a strategic thinker who can adapt Agile practices to fit our needs, drive cross-functional alignment, and ensure that our teams are fully engaged and productive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management Process Design: Develop and implement a Scrum/Agile-based project management process tailored to our business needs.
- Daily Operations: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, ensuring the smooth operation of our project management framework.
- Tool Utilization: Standardize and enforce the use of Asana for all project management activities, ensuring that it becomes an integral part of the team’s workflow.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure their buy-in and seamless integration into the project management process.
- Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from teams, stakeholders, and leadership to refine the project management process continuously.
- Upwards and Downwards Management: Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, providing guidance and support to both leadership and team members.
- Business Acumen: Learn and understand our business operations, using this knowledge to adapt and optimize the project management process.
Key Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a project management role, with a strong focus on Scrum/Agile methodologies.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing Agile processes in prior organizations, with tangible results.
- Experience working with remote teams and managing projects across different time zones.
- Significant experience with Asana, including setting up and managing projects, workflows, and integrations within the tool.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage upwards to leadership and downwards to team members.
- Expertise in designing and refining project management processes that are easy to understand and follow.
- Flexibility and adaptability to tailor Agile practices to fit unique business needs.
- Ability to drive team engagement and ensure consistent use of the project management process.
- Familiarity with cross-functional team dynamics and the ability to foster collaboration.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is highly desirable.
- Experience in sales strategy or revenue operations environments is a plus.
