Senior ABAP Developer Position Overview
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in SAP ABAP development and a passion for problem-solving and system optimization. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing custom SAP applications and solutions to support our business processes.
ABAP Developer Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and user exits.
- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Analyze existing SAP programs and optimize performance and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ABAP programming and SAP systems.
- Participate in SAP project implementations, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with SAP technologies, tools, and best practices to recommend improvements.
Senior ABAP Developer Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP programming and development.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules such as FI, CO, SD, MM, or HR.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
The position will pay a competitive salary based on experience $110,000 - $130,000 range plus bonus and excellent full benefits package.
