Responsibilities
This position is seeking a Data Analyst professional with database, data entry/maintenance, and data analysis skills. Position will assist with maintenance of roadway data. Most work will be performed using in house spatial database and custom user interface. Position will require contact with governmental agencies and coordination with other agency staff. Knowledge of SQL, FME, Python, or ArcGIS Pro SDK will be a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Updates roadway attribute data in client's custom spatial database.
- Follows documented workflows, standard operating procedures and best practices to consistently produce high-quality data with minimal errors or corrections.
- Coordinate with staff to obtain recommendations in the development of policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with District staff to assist in maintenance of roadway attribute data
- Reviews, analyzes, and summarizes documents.
- Assists with the development/maintenance of content for internal SharePoint wiki pages
- Use of Microsoft Product Suite including SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
- Performs related work as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum (Required):
- 4-5 years of graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in data science, GIS, computer science, or a related field is generally preferred. Experience and education may be substituted for one another.
- 5 years of data analysis, data maintenance, data entry
- 5 years use of SQL, and experience with the Oracle environment
Preferred (Optional):
- 5 years experience with LRS systems and analysis
- 5 years knowledge of geospatial concepts, data, and platforms/software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Esri Portal)
- 5 years experience with FME and/or Python
