Client is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager. You lead and mentor a team of engineers, oversee project development, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The client would ideally like someone with a background in Java, Bootstrap, APIs, and cloud technologies.
Need to have experience leading small teams that are growing (ideally in a startup environment) and have a hands-on strength in Java, Bootstrap, APIs, and cloud technologies.
Requirements:
- BS or MS Degree
- Min 7+ years of professional software engineering experience along with a min of 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
- Java and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
- Front-end technologies, particularly Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- AWS technologies, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering complex software projects
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
