A globally prominent and rapidly growing manufacturer of cutting-edge production equipment seeks to expand their Design Engineering team. Due to an influx of exciting new, long-term business, they are seeking to hire a Electrical Design Engineer. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering, this role will support design and development of electrical and wiring systems and schematics. This is a permanent, direct-hire position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and document industrial wiring systems and electrical schematics.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical engineers, project managers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to optimize electrical design for manufacturability, reliability, and performance.
- Contribute to the design release process, ensuring all electrical design documentation is complete, accurate, and formally approved before production.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to manufacturing and field service teams as needed.
- Create and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
- 2+ years of electrical design engineering experience.
- High proficiency with Solidworks and/or AutoCAD.
- Significant exposure to the design release phase of the product development lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, quality standards, and regulations relevant to industrial equipment.
